How to renew your certificate: Court reporters

You must renew your court reporter certificate each year.

How to renew

If you received a renewal notice in the mail and your certificate is about to expire or has expired (if expired over 3 years see the last option below):

Using the envelope provided, send us:

• the bottom portion of the renewal notice.
• the fee (make check or money order payable to Washington State Treasurer).

Send to:

• Court Reporter Program
  Department of Licensing
  PO Box 9048
  Olympia, WA 98507

If you did NOT receive a renewal notice and your certificate is about to expire or has expired (if expired over 3 years see the last option below):

Send a letter to us and include the following:

• Your name.
• Your current mailing address.
• Type of license you are renewing.
• License number or birth date.
• The fee (make check or money order payable to Washington State Treasurer).

Send the letter to:

  Olympia, Washington 98507
